Section A – Very Short Answer / Objective Type Questions
Section A includes objective-type questions such as Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), True/False, Fill in the Blanks, and Assertion–Reason questions. This section mainly checks the student’s basic understanding of concepts, definitions, and factual knowledge from topics like Computer Systems, Boolean Logic, and Number System.
Students are expected to recall correct information quickly and apply fundamental concepts. The answers are short and precise. This section tests clarity of concepts rather than detailed explanations.
Questions for Section A:
What is the full form of ASCII, and how many bits does it use?
Which component of the CPU performs arithmetic and logical operations?
Section B – Short Answer Type Questions
Section B contains short answer questions that require explanation in 2–4 lines. Students must describe concepts clearly in their own words. These questions test understanding, comparison, and explanation skills.
Topics may include memory types, operating system functions, Boolean laws, number system conversions, and differences between compiler and interpreter.
Students should write structured answers with definitions and examples where needed.
Questions for Section B:
Explain the difference between RAM and ROM with two points.
What is a truth table? Why is it important in Boolean logic?
Section C – Long Answer / Descriptive Type Questions
Section C includes long answer questions that require detailed explanation. Students may need to write definitions, comparisons, diagrams, steps, or examples. Logical thinking and proper presentation are important in this section.
This section evaluates deep understanding of topics like Operating System functions, Memory types, Number System conversions, Boolean expressions, and Python programming concepts.
Answers should be well-organized and may include diagrams or examples where necessary.
Questions for Section C:
Explain the different types of memory in a computer system with examples.
Compare Compiler, Interpreter, and Assembler with suitable examples.
