  • Asirgarh Fort and Moti Mahal - They are situated about 20 kilometers from Burhanpur city in the Satpura range. Asirgarh was reflected to be the preliminary point of the Deccan region. It is majorly influenced by Mughals. The architecture of this castle is an amalgaamation of Islamic, Persian, and Indian styles. Moti Mahal’s structure is close to Asirgarh which was constructed by Shah Jahan for his wife Moti Begum.
  • The BadshahiQila and Zenana Hammam - It was built under Farooqi Dynasty. The BadshahiQila was governed by Shah Jahan for a lengthier period of time. The Qila is well-known for Zenana Hammam. It is a royal bathroom built for Shah Jahan’s adored wife Begum Mumtaz Mahal. Mumtaz Mahal was submerged for about six months in ShahiQila after her death. Later her body was moved to Agra once construction of the Taj Mahal was completed.
  • Dargah-E-Hakimi - It is the burial place of the divine Dawoodi Bohra saint, Saiyedi Abdul QadirHakimuddin. The beautiful premises comprise mosques, gardens, and lodging facilities for pilgrims.
  • Ahukhana - It is situated across the Tapti River. The memorial is a wish house which contains a pillared hall in typical Mughal elegance.
  • Jama Masjid - It is located in the middle of the town. This place of adoration is also called as “Bibi Ki Masjid”. The building of the Masjid was initiated by Begum Rukayya. She was the wife of Sultan Adil Shah Farooqi II and henceforth the name.
  • KundiBhandara - The place is also known as “KhooniBhandara”. It is an exclusive underground water management structure of Mughal age. It is a system of 103 “Kundis” known as a well-like structure that is interconnected through a subversive tunnel. The system confirms an even course of water from the first to the last Kundi, founded on the law of gravity.
  • Raja kiChhatri - It is a renowned memorial located some 7 kilometers away from Burhanpur. It was built by Aurangzeb in honor of Raja Jai Singh, the Leader of the Mughal force in Deccan.
  • Kaala Taj Mahal or KaalaMaqbara - It is a vault of Shah Nawaz Khan, the child of Abdur Raheem Khan-e-Khana. The memorial was built using local black stone and hence the name was kaala Taj Mahal. It is a very lovely structure, though has hardly any similarity to the actual Taj Mahal.
