(SEM I) THEORY EXAMINATION 2021-22 EMERGING TECHNOLOGY FOR ENGINEERING
This question paper for B.Tech (Semester 1) – Emerging Technology for Engineering is divided into three major sections (A, B, C) and covers the most important modern technologies shaping the engineering world—IoT, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, 3D Printing, AR, Drones, 5G, AWS, Smart Contracts, and Brain–Computer Interfaces.
SECTION A – Very Short Answer Questions (20 Marks)
10 questions × 2 marks each
Students must attempt all questions.

Drone
Augmented Reality (AR)
This section tests basic definitions and conceptual understanding.
SECTION B – Short Answer Questions (30 Marks)

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with services
Cloud vendors and services
5G technology in India and its applications
This section evaluates explanation skills and technological clarity.
SECTION C – Long Answer Questions (50 Marks)
Each subsection contains two options, and students must attempt one question from EACH group.

This section focuses on deep understanding and detailed explanation of advanced technologies.
This question paper covers modern engineering technologies including IoT, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, 5G, AR/VR, 3D Printing, AWS, Smart Contracts, Drones, and Brain–Computer Interfaces. Students must answer short definitions, medium-length explanations, and long analytical questions across Sections A, B, and C.
