(SEM I) THEORY EXAMINATION 2018-19 BASIC ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
This is a fully structured AKTU B.Tech First Year – Basic Electrical Engineering (BEE) question paper designed as per the official 100-mark university exam pattern. The paper is divided into Section A, Section B, and Section C, covering all major concepts of electrical circuits, AC/DC systems, transformers, DC machines, induction motors, power factor, resonance, network theorems, and household wiring systems.
This question paper is extremely useful for students preparing for semester exams, internal tests, assignments, viva exams, and for strengthening their understanding of core electrical engineering topics through numericals, phasor diagrams, derivations, and objective theory.
SECTION A – Short Questions (10 × 2 = 20 Marks)
This section covers the most important fundamentals of electrical engineering:
Active vs passive elements
Bilateral vs unilateral elements
Ideal voltage & current sources
