SECTION A — Short Descriptive Paragraph Needed
, Section A contains basic questions on casting shrinkage, forging differences, cutting tools, CNC advantages, grinding wheel hardness, dressing vs truing, straight polarity in arc welding, brazing vs soldering, ECM electrolyte, and water jet machining uses.
Each answer must be a short paragraph explaining the term clearly.
Extra sample questions:
Explain pattern allowances in casting in a short paragraph.
Describe the meaning of machining allowance in 4–5 lines.
Explain upsetting operation in forging briefly.
SECTION B — Medium Descriptive Paragraph Needed
Section B contains deeper questions such as hot vs cold working, taper turning methods (with sketch), grinding wheel specifications, atomic hydrogen welding, and notes on EBM/USM/LBM. These answers should be one complete descriptive paragraph explaining the steps, working, or applications.
Extra sample questions:
Explain the working of a lathe tailstock in paragraph form.
Describe principle and applications of powder metallurgy.
